TAYLOR SWIFT GIVES BIG TO NASHVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY

Taylor Swift continues with her philanthropic acts, most recently by donating 14,000 Scholastic books to the Nashville Public Library. The donation is one of the largest gifts the Library has ever received.

The books will be distributed among the system's 21 branches, and each will bear a donation plate on the inside reading: "A Gift to the Children of Nashville from Taylor Swift and Scholastic Inc."

The books that are not put into circulation in the library will be given to children from low-income families, as well as preschools and daycare centers.

Taylor will perform on the Grammy Awards on February 12th, where is she is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Mean" and Best Country Album for Speak Now. The Grammys will air on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
